Tariro Bure

Projects Strategy Advisor

Tariro Bure is a dynamic program lead with a demonstrated track record in successfully launching projects and mobilising resources at both regional and global levels. Currently serving as the Strategic and Nature Finance Man Coordinator within the High-Level Climate Champions Finance team, she is pivotal in driving processes and supporting finance initiatives, contributing to system transformation, fostering a net-zero and resilient future. In a dual capacity, Tariro leads the Finance Sector Deforestation Action (FSDA), overseeing a global investor group of over 35 members with assets under management exceeding USD 8 trillion.

Prior to her current role, Tariro created the African Youth Networks Movement (AYNM) at the Mandela Institute for Development Studies, establishing chapters that reached over a 200 youth networks across 45 African countries. As part of the founding team for the African Leadership University (ALU), Tariro served as a Special Projects Associate to the Chairman. She spearheaded campus accreditation and inauguration processes in this role, collaborating closely with the Government of Mauritius. Tariro holds a BA in Global Economics and Management from Jacobs University Bremen in Germany. In 2021, she further enriched her academic background by completing a Policy Fellowship at the European University in Florence, Italy.

Biggie Tangane

Energy transition & global engagement

Biggie Tangane is a versatile professional with a strong background in sustainability, international business, and strategic leadership. With a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and an Executive Master in International Negotiation & Policy-Making, he drove a global sustainability & energy transition initiative at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, collaborating with major organizations like IEA, EY, PwC and Bank of America. Previously, he played integral roles at De Beers Group in London and held positions at Bloomberg L.P. in Washington, DC, and the African Leadership Group in South Africa/Mauritius. Biggie is dedicated to driving positive change through his expertise in energy transition, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement.
